Hi, I'm Tan, the founder of Tamed by Tan.
My passion for hair began at the age of 14 in Jamaica, inspired by Mary J. Blige's iconic hairstyles. After moving to the UK, I struggled to find anyone who could create the looks I wanted, so I taught myself how to make wigs while working in the financial sector.
What started as a personal passion grew into Tamed by Tan. I've been transforming hair for over five years and officially established the business two years ago. Today, I specialise in wig and frontal installations, sew-ins, silk presses, styling and hair treatments, with every service tailored to each client.
My goal is to create a luxurious, welcoming experience where every woman leaves my chair feeling confident, empowered and truly cared for.
